The End of our Lenten Journey

Jesus' entire life was a journey to the cross. He was born to die, and by dying he destroyed our death and by rising restored our life. Holy Week invites us to survey the cross: to ponder, pray and reflect on the glory of Jesus' death which won for us every spiritual blessing. We boast on the cross, rejoice in it and thank God for sending Jesus to die for our sins. In baptism we were immersed into Jesus' death and resurrection, and by God's grace we no longer love for ourselves but for Him who dies and rose for us.

The Celebration of Jesus' Resurrection

Easter Sunday reminds us that Jesus offers each one of us a share in his everlasting life and eternal happiness. On behalf of all the Staff and Academy Committee Members I would like to wish all our pupils and their families a happy Easter. Let this be a time to celebrate Easter together and to make this a special occasion to celebrate Jesus' resurrection.

Virtues Focus - Intentional and Prophetic

Pupils at St. Joseph's School are growing to be intentional in the way they live and use the resources of the earth, guided by conscience; and prophetic in the example they set to others. Intentional means planning our actions and choosing to live how God wants us to. Prophetic means spreading the word of God through how we live our lives.

Prayer of the Week (Wednesday Word)

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for this Sunday's wonderful celebration of your resurrection. Please bless my family with new life throughout the great season of Easter. Amen.
