In this Sunday's Gospel, we are reminded that God's chosen people were not chosen just to enjoy God's love for themselves. They were called to be the starting point from which God's love would spread to all people. God loves each one of us equally and unconditionally. His love for us in unlimited and God is forever searching out people to whom He can show His love. If we are willing to turn to God, to accept and experience His love, the happier we become.
Safer Internet Day 2019 will be celebrated in the UK on Tuesday 5th February, focusing on the theme of: Together for a better internet. The aim of Safer Internet Day is to inspire a national conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively. This year in the UK, Safer Internet Day will focus on how consent works in an online context and will ask young people to explore how they ask, give, and receive consent online. This could be in their friendships or how they take and share images and videos or how they manage their privacy and data. Further details can be found at www.saferinternetday.org.
