A Message from Mr Carry

As we come to the end of the Autumn term, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members of staff, volunteers, Academy Committee members, parents and parishioners for their continued support to the children of St. Joseph's. We are blessed to have such a caring community who want to do the very best for each and every child.  With the election campaign now over and a majority Conservative govenrment at the helm, it will be interesting to see how schools and education are supported as we start a new decade.  Financial pressures will continue to remain and I thank the members of the PTA for their contiued support in raising much needed additional funds to supplement the resources offered by the school.  If you would like to support the school through volunteering as a PTA member or perhaps you have some time to listen to readers then please contact the school office.  The school has continued to develop from strength-to-strength since the introduction of the new curriculum back in 2014 which has been reflected in the outcomes achieved at all phases including are most able pupils and the progress of those with SEND. This has been a combination of support through committed staff, parents and the Multi-Academy Company. As we start a new year and a new decade, let us all continue to work collaboratively to enable all our pupils to receive the best possible education through a broad, balanced and enriched curriculum.  I wish all our children, parents and wider family members a very Happy and Holy Christmas break and I look forward to seeing you all again on Tuesday 7th January at 8.45am.

Prayer of the Week - Dedication to our Parish

God our Father, as a Parish this day we re-dedicate our whole lives to the service of your Church, With confidence, we present our heartfelt prayers to You. We ask you to bless this Parish Community, our homes, our families. Strengthen with your peace all our days. We commend ourselves to the protection of Mary, our Lady, the Mother of Jesus, Mother of the Church. Through her prayers may we be preserved from all evil influences, now and at the hour of our death. This prayer we ask in the Name of Jesus who lives and reigns with you, the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
