This Week's Maths - All About Money
We will continue to learn all about money in our lessons this week. However we will start the week with some revision sessions about adding and subtracting as these are skills you will need when we are learning about paying and giving change.
Our lesson schedule is as follows:
Monday- Revision session (Addition)
Tuesday - Revision session (Addition)
Wednesday - Revision Session (Subtraction)
Thursday - Finding the difference (Money)
Friday - Finding change
Everything you need can be found by clicking on the PDF files below. Look out for links to short videos that will help you complete the tasks. I've also added a link to some squared paper which may help you organise your work.
If you are finding things a little tricky, use the activities in the Home Learning Support File. All of these activities are designed to be used time and time again to help consolidate understanding.
I've also added some extra challenges if you want to try them. These are optional which means you should only do them if you want to.

Click on the Set 3 Speed Sounds and Spelling videos and 'Read and Hold a sentence 2'

English Activities
Click on the PDF files to find some reading and writing activities for this week. On Monday there's an activity called Subordinating Conjunctions. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there are some activities linked to the film 'Caterpillar Shoes'. Finally, on Friday, there is an inference activity to try. Have a go at as many as these activities as you have time for, but don't worry if you don't have chance to complete them all.

Tuesday
Our first lesson this week is all about Baptism and in particular the symbols we associate wth this Sacrament. Click on the link below to find out what to do. It would also be lovely if you could chat to your parents about your own Baptism and maybe look at photos, the clothes you wore and your Baptismal Candle.

This week we are beginning a new topic called 'Animals Including Humans'. In our first lesson we wil learn to identify different groups of animals. I think you will really enjoy this topic and I can't wait to see all your fabulous work.

This week we will continue to find out about famous composers by learning all about Ludwig van Beethoven. There is an information file to read with your grown up, some fun activities to try and even a quiz to complete. I think you will really enjoy this work and I can't wait to see lots of photos of your fabulous work.

This week we will continue to read this brilliant story by Andy Shepherd. Don't forget to check out the 'Key Vocabulary' files to help you understand any new words.
