Happy Friday Year 2!

Well done Year 2! You have worked so hard this week and I have loved seeing all your work. Click on my daily messages to find out what I want you to do today. Then scroll down the page to find the tasks for each subject. There are separate videos to explain today's learning in both English and Maths and it's really important that you watch them before tackling the tasks. For children in RWI groups, please watch the English video and then complete the tasks in the PDF file underneath the RWI banner. For children in my English group, complete the tasks in the file under the English banner.

I've added the link to this week's Wednesday Word. You might like to use it as part of our R.E. work as it is about another miracle of healing that Jesus performed.

I know that working from home is not easy and your grown ups are juggling lots of things at the moment so you may not be able to finish all the tasks every day. Try to complete the Maths and English tasks if you can but please don't worry if you don't finish everything. Remember we all work at different levels, speeds and abilities. You just work to the best of yours! I'm always here to help, and can be contacted via our class e-mail address.

Don't forget to send lots of photos to me of all your work. I love seeing what you are up to.

Gospel Assembly with Mr Carry

Friday

If you get the chance today, take a few moments to think about yesterday's assembly. How did you feel as you watched Abdul and Mohammed make a five-hour round trip twice a day so that everyone has enough to wash with and to drink?

We need water to live. When we don't have water, we say we feel thirsty. It means we need something to drink. What else do we thirst for? Watch the reflection video and write down your thoughts and feelings on the reflection sheet in the file below.
