Tomorrow (Tuesday 17th October) is odd socks day in aid of Anti Bullying week. Don't forget to wear your odd socks to school :) You don't need to bring in £1.

English: Monday 16th November

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your hard work on the Black Hat. I have loved looking through all of your work and reading your stories :) You are superstars.

In today's English lesson we are going to be doing some more work based on the Nothing to see here hotel. Watch the video of me explaining the lesson and reading some more of the story to you. Once you have done that, I would like you to answer the five questions on the PowerPoint. Next, choose from the following two activities (or do both):

- Write your own 'zero star' reviews of the hotel to keep humans away.

- Write your own brochure to convince monsters to come and stay at the hotel. 

I really hope you enjoy these activites. I can't wait to read some more of the story to you in school tomorrow :)

There are also some more reading, spelling and handwriting activites for today if you would like. Please don't worry if you don't have time to complete them.

On Friday, it was world kindness day. In today's lesson, I would like you to think about all the ways you can be kind to others and to yourself. Read through the PowerPoint and complete the 2 activities at the end.

1. Watch the new John Lewis advert (link below). How do the people/ characters spread love and kindness around?

2. Complete the heart full of kindness activity (on the PowerPoint).
