You may remeber that before Christmas we began collecting shoe boxes in school. This was a great success, Mrs McCole has had a lovely letter from some of the children who benefitted from your kindness. Mrs McClole sent the following message to you:

'Adama and Awa and their friends were delighted to receive their shoe boxes.  St Joseph's sent over 150 shoeboxes to the Gambia to children who attend Half Dye, Hanne Vibe and Spring of Life schools.
Adama and Awa have written to St Joseph's to thank the children for sponsoring them. The money helps to pay for their schooling and uniform. They love thier Christmas and birthday gifts too'

It is so lovely to hear how these projects really do make a difference in peoples lives, well done children for all your efforts.
