Daily examination of conscience is the practice of reflecting on the day in order to see how God's presence has broken through into our lives. This daily 'examen' is a way of reviewing every happening of the day in order to become aware of God touching our lives in many different ways. We come to realise that God comes to meet us where we are, and can bring us his touch and his grace through the smallest of things, the simplest of ways. Let us grow in awareness this week as we grow in our desire to praise and thank God.
Congratulations to our Year 5 children for their wonderful performance at last night's Pyramid Concert. They were a real credit to the school and their families. It is such an amazing opportunity and experience for the children to perform as such a venue in front of a large audience. Thank you to Mr Mallinson for his tireless enthusiasm, energy and commitment in collating together such a memorable event for these young people. Our thanks also go out to Mrs Lawson, Mrs Watts and Mr Penikit for their continued support in preparing the children too.

Children and families are invited to the Arts Centre to find out about learning a musical instrument. We hope that you will encourage children who have expressed an interest to come along and try a range of instruments/meet teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for schools with whole class programmes to provide an opportunity for students to think about learning next year.

Pupils at St. Joseph's School are growing to be intentional in the way they live and use the resources of the earth, guided by conscience; and prophetic in the example they set to others. Intentional means planning our actions and choosing to live how God wants us to. Prophetic means spreading the word of God through how we live our lives.
Dear Lord Jesus, please help me and my family to grow in love and strength during Lent through keeping our Lenten promises. Amen.
