Hello Reception,

We have loved seeing your work over the last few days. Thank you for working so hard. This week we have set some phonics, maths, handwriting, RE and topic work.  If you would like to you can also have a go at the optional extra challenges. Don't forget to listen to story and prayer time at the end of the day!

This week you will be learning to form k and z.  Children often find it tricky to form letters in the slider family as developmentally the ability to form diagonal lines comes later.  Because of this we have decided to leave the videos from the letters we learned last week on this weeks page so that children have the chance to revise.

With help from a grown up, start to keep a diary of the birds you see in your garden. Draw a picture and label it to help you remember what they look like. Then write a simple sentence. For example, 'I can see a red robin in the tree.'

End the day with a prayer and a story with Mrs Dodd or Mrs Piercy.  We hope you have had a lovely day!
