Hello Reception,

Well done for working so hard last week! We hope that you enjoyed learning about farm animals! This week we have set some phonics, maths, handwriting, RE and topic work.  If you would like to you can also have a go at the optional extra challenges. Don't forget to listen to story and prayer time at the end of the day!

A class login has been created for you to access online reading books. Please read daily.

Red group: Please read 'Get up!' this week.

Green group: Please read 'Hands' this week.

Daily Phonics Sessions - Red group

Please use this link to access Read Write Inc phonics sessions daily.  Red group will need to use set 1 sessions. Please complete speed sounds, word time and spelling each day.  Also scroll down to access the 'Red words 1' session.

Daily Phonics Sessions- Green group

Here are the Read Write Inc set 2 sounds for you to practise each day and a pronunciation guide for grown ups.

Underneath there is also a file with all of the set 1, 2 and 3 sounds.  You will only need to use sets 1 and 2 at the moment. There are also some 'red words' for children to learn gradually.

This week you will be continuing to revise letters in the Jumper family.  There are videos to remind you how to form the letters n and m. There is also a Jumpoer family challenge video.  Make sure you are using our Kinetic letters pencil grip. There is a picture in the file below to remind you of this.

End the day with a prayer and a story with Mrs Dodd or Mrs Piercy.  We hope you have had a lovely day!
