"Give to those who ask, and don’t refuse those who wish to borrow from you." Matthew 5:42
We understand that from time-to-time, family life can have its difficulties. At these times, you may need some extra help and support. To help you and your family we have an Early Help Offer.
We have lots of support available for you to access, both internally within school and with the support of Dudley.
Early help support may be provided at any point in a child or young person’s life. The sooner the family receives the support, the sooner they are able to improve their situation and prevent the need for prolonged support.
Early Help is here to find out what is working well for families and what areas they might be worried about; it can help to build on families’ strengths and identify any needs where support might be needed. It is an approach that brings people together from different teams and services who work together with the whole family. The main focus is to improve outcomes for children.
The type of things that Early Help can support you with include:
Early Help can give you the tools to solve challenges or problems you are experiencing with help from others where needed.
As adults, you may also experience times whereby you need your own personal support. We are always here to help and guide you.
The earlier you share your concerns, the easier it will be to put the right support mechanisms in place for you and your family.
At St Joseph's, we work with a number of agencies to support our families, including the Early Help Assessment Team at Dudley. Our team of internal staff are always here to support you and your children.
