Dear Parents and Carers

In Sunday’s Gospel we are reminded by Luke of the importance of giving thanks for all the amazing things that we have been given. When we see all that we have as a gift from God, it is easier to share what we have. It makes us want to care for the earth and make it a fairer place for all people to live. This reminds us to give thanks for being part of such a caring community at our school.

Tomorrow evening at 5pm in Our Lady and All Saints we will give thanks for the new families who join us in our Reception class. Please do join us!

Today has been a very exciting day as we have been joined by a videographer and photographer – I’m sure that the children will enjoy telling you all about this experience! I look forward to sharing the video and images with you soon.

Saturday 11^th October – 5pm Welcome Mass for new Reception families at OLAS

Monday 13^th October – Celebration Day for St Carlo (children in St Carlo to wear a yellow top)

Tuesday 14^th October – 9:05am Year 4 stay and pray

Wednesday 15^th October - 9:15-10:45am - Open morning for prospective parents September 2026

Thursday 16^th October – Open afternoon for prospective parents September 2026

Tuesday 21^st October – 9:05am Year 6 stay and pray

Wednesday 22^nd October – 2:20pm – Key Stage 1 Mass (parents welcome to attend)

Thursday 23^rd October – PTA Spooky Disco 4:00-6:30pm

Friday 24^th October – Final day of the first half term of autumn

Monday 3^rd November – school reopens for pupils
