Rosary
Year 6 took some time out after a very busy week of SATs assessments to pray the Rosary together in our memorial garden. We used Rosary beads and the new painted prayer stones to help us.
Gardening Club
This term, gardening club has been in full swing. The children have been planting lots of seeds, creating a scarecrow, building areas to promote mini-beasts and caring for the wonderful produce that is beginning to bud and blossom, caring for our God's wonderful creation as they do so!
Reception were lucky enough to welcome the police and a very special guest - Trevor, a working police dog! We focused on our rights and responsibilities, British Values and vocations.
We celebrated the feast day of St Joseph The Worker, our school patron. Lots of fun activities took place in school including art work, crafts, fact files and prayers all centred around our school patron. A big thank you to the PTA for providing each child with a special treat of an ice-cream from the ice-cream van for the celebrations.
Thank you to Father Philip for celebrating a lovely Mass for St. Joseph too! It was a joyful and uplifting occasion to finish the day.
Year 4 Triptych art
Year 4 created their own examples of Triptych art which were originally created as altarpieces and to serve as an aid to devotion to prayer. A triptych is made up of three panels joined together by a hinge.
All classes have a weekly collective worship where the children plan and lead the areas of Gather, Listen, Respond and Go Forth. Here are some photos to showcase our prayer leaders in action.
St George's Day
The whole school dressed in red and white to celebrate the feast of St. George. We had a lovely day learning about England's patron saint. The children also focused on British Values in class!
Staff Prayer Time
Every Friday morning, our staff gather for scripture led prayer to reflect on the week and bring a sense of calm to our busy lives. It also reminds us that Christ is at the centre of all that we do. It is led by a different member of staff each week.
The Three Trees - An Easter Musical
Our Year 3 pupils performed ‘The Three Trees’ (an Easter musical) for the school community on Thursday afternoon. The children read, sang and acted wonderfully! What superstars! Thank you families for all your support and positive feedback.
End of Term Mass
Thank you to Fr Philip, parishioners, governors, parents, staff and pupils who celebrated Mass with us for the last day of term! Year 6 read, Year 2 helped with the Offertory Procession, Year 3 and 6 pupils served and Reception welcomed us in waving Palms!
Lenten Almsgiving
This week, all classes took part in a prayer service where we placed the money donated to our Lenten Charity: Fr Hudson's Care. We remember to pray, fast and give alms during Lent. We created a cross and Year 3 led us with the singing.
Easter Garden Competition
Thank you to everyone who entered our Easter Garden competition! Our entrance was so bright, beautiful and smelled lovely with all the fresh Spring flowers.
It was a difficult decision for our Caritas Ambassadors!
A big thank you to all of our families for your donations of! Easter eggs for the Food Bank. We appreciate your generosity.
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 received the Sacrament of Confession this week before Easter.

World Down Syndrome Day
Well done to Year 1 for teaching us all about Down Syndrome and everyone looked great in their bright socks for World Down Syndrome Day! Thank you to everyone who supported by buying the Ups and Downs merchandise throughout the week!

Year 1 recreated Jesus' entry into Jerusalem in our school hall as part of the Holy Week learning! Hosanna!
Children's Mental Health Week
