School Meals

St Joseph's is a 'Healthy School' and we actively encourage children to bring healthy lunchboxes and snacks.

All children are encouraged to bring their own bottle of water into school on a daily basis. Fizzy drinks are not allowed.

Children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 receive a piece of fresh fruit to eat at break time provided by the DfE free fruit scheme.

If you think your child may be entitled to free school meals, please see below for details.

Please note that we are a 'nut free' school as we sometimes have pupils with nut allergies, therefore snacks or food containing nuts are not permitted at any time.

In addition to this, please also inform us straight away of of any allergies or intolerances that you child has so that we can make appropriate provision in school.

Should your child require access to an alternative religious diet, please contact the school office in the first instance.
