We are reminded in this Sunday's Gospel about God's generosity which is unlimited and open to everyone. Pope Francis reminds us, "How generous is God, let us ask him for the grace of being generous too." As a global community in such extraordinary times, let us be generous to one another through our thoughts, words and actions. Each day, we should be thankful for the blessings God has given to us. At times when we struggle, God can be with us through prayer, meditation and in receiving the Blessed Sacrament. It was also wonderful to welcome Fr. Phillip to St. Joseph's School on Tuesday to meet all our children and staff. We look forward to working in partnership with Fr. Phillip to contiune to support our young people on their journey of education and faith. Children from St. Matthew's house can come into school on Monday 21st September wearing their own clothes including their house colour which is purple. Apologies for any confusion caused by the error in the date last week.
A reminder that Reception parents will need to drop-off their children at 8.45am first and then any other children. Reception children are then to be collected at 2.55pm. We also ask that parents refrain from gathering together on the school grounds before or after drop off, and to maintain social distancing at all times. Thank you for your continued support.

This is a one off arrangement and is available for existing students as well as anyone who would like to play an instrument or have singing lessons. The cost is £7 for a 20 minute individual lesson which includes instrument hire for certain instruments. You can find out everything you need to know including how to enrol at this website.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for your generous love. Please help us to grow in generosity and to do your work in the world with a loving and generous heart. Amen.
Children at St. Joseph's are growing to be curious about everything; and active in their engagement with the world, changing what they can for the better.
