Hello Year 2!
Wow! Year 2 you are amazing. I am so impressed with all the hard work you are doing. I love receiving your e-mails and looking at everything you have done. I am so proud of the effort you are making with your home learning. Well done to you all.
Find out what to do today by watching my morning message.
I've added some extra activities to help you write multiplications from pictures as one or two of you found this a little confusing - remember to count the groups first!
It's really important that you watch the videos for both the English and Maths lessons today, as these will explain exactly what I want you to do!
Don't forget to read this week's Wednesday Word. There are some prayers and activities for you to use -either on your own or as a family.
Just a note to remind you that our English lessons are split into 2 groups - Mrs Riley's English group and RWI groups. If you are usually in a RWI group, please complete the speed sound lessons by following the link under the 'RWI' banner annd then complete the English activities I have set for you outlined in the RWI section.
I know that working from home is not easy and your grown ups are juggling lots of things at the moment so you may not be able to finish all the tasks every day. Try to complete the Maths and English tasks if you can but please don't worry if you don't finish everything. Remember we all work at different levels, speeds and abilities. You just work to the best of yours! I'm always here to help, and can be contacted via our class e-mail address.
Don't forget to send lots of photos to me of all your work. I love seeing what you are up to.
